Matin Hosseini

Matin Hosseini is an Applied Scientist at Amazon, continuing their work in developing advanced machine learning applications. Previously, Matin was a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at GEICO and a Computer Vision Scientist at Flex Logix Technologies, where they developed MLOps pipelines for object detection. Matin’s experience also includes internships at PayPal focused on anomaly detection and AI research at Bolster, Inc., where they addressed phishing and hate speech detection. Matin earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, following a Master's in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
