Zahira V. is a politically engaged individual with diverse experience in editorial roles and student leadership. As an Opinion Editor Assistant and Opinion Intern at The New University from July to December 2024, and previously as an Opinion Staff Writer and Opinion Head Editor at New University from June 2023 to June 2024, Zahira has honed editorial skills and contributed to public discourse. Additionally, Zahira has experience in warehouse operations with Amazon in July 2025 and served as a Student Mentor for ASUCI from April 2024 to March 2025. As Vice President of External Affairs for the Pre Law Latinx Association at UCI from January to June 2024, Zahira demonstrated commitment to advocacy and community engagement.
