Thomas Michelon currently serves as the Cultural Advisor and Director of the Institut français d'Allemagne at the Ambassade de France en Allemagne. Prior to this role, Thomas was the Cultural and Scientific Counsellor at the French Embassy in Belgium, where efforts were focused on innovative cooperation initiatives in areas such as artificial intelligence and renewable energies. Thomas brings extensive experience from the Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères, where responsibilities included overseeing international cooperation program budgets. Previous roles also encompass deputy cultural counselor in the United States, cultural counselor in Canada, and cultural attaché in the Netherlands, highlighting a strong background in leading cultural cooperation policies and managing diverse cultural projects internationally. Thomas holds a Master's degree in public service from Sciences Po Strasbourg and a Master's degree in contemporary art history from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
