Before that, Zippy worked as a Sales & Marketing Executive at KOT Selections - Wine Import, Distribution & Advisory from 2018 to 2019. They also have experience as a Counsellor at Collegewise from 2017 to 2018, a Private Tutor at Enjoy Education from 2013 to 2017, and a Research Assistant at The Times Wine Critic from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, Zippy worked as a Knowledge Analyst at Russell Reynolds Associates from 2013 to 2015 and as an Assistant to Equities Correspondent at The Wall Street Journal in 2012.

Zippy Bąkowska attended James Allen's Girls' School from 2002 to 2009. Zippy then went on to study at the University of Oxford from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Italian. Later, in 2015 to 2016, Zippy pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Italian Studies at UCL.
