Tim Whiting

Tim Whiting has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim began their career as a Laboratory Technician at British Sugar in 1996. In 2002, they worked as a Gas & Electricity Negotiator at EIC before moving on to become a Regulatory Manager at IWC in 2004. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Analyst at Utility Masters Ltd.

In 2010, Tim joined Haven Power, where they held various roles over the years. Tim started as a Flex Contract Trader before advancing to become the Head of Flex Trading. Tim then served as the Head of I&C Commercial and later the Head of Energy Services. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of Head of Strategic Accounts (Operations). Finally, they became the Head of Service from 2019 to 2021 at Haven Power.

Currently, Tim is the Global Head of Lean Utilities at Amber, a position they have held since 2021. Additionally, they also concurrently serves as the Operations Director at Amber, a role they began in August 2022.
