Ariana Gray Bé has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Ariana began their career as a Secretarial Assistant in the Department of Music at Denison University, and then worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. In 2012, they became a FPAC Dance Instructor at Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory. In 2015, they began their graduate studies at Northwestern University, where they were a Graduate Student Researcher, NSF Graduate Research Fellow, Kellogg School of Management: Management for Scientists and Engineers Certification Program participant, Private Tutor for General Chemistry & Organic Chemistry, Center for Civic Engagement Graduate Engagement Opportunities Internship & Practicum participant, and Co-Instructor for BRIDGE: Preparation in Organic Chemistry. Ariana also worked as a Summer Research Assistant in the lab of Prof. Michael Wasielewski. In 2020, Ariana began working at Beyond Meat as an Innovation Scientist I and II. Ariana is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at Ambercycle.
Ariana Gray Bé attended Cleveland Heights High School from 2007 to 2011. Ariana then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Vocal Music Performance from Denison University between 2011 and 2015. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Northwestern University between 2015 and 2020.
