Talha Aftab

Talha Aftab has been working in the software engineering field since 2004. Talha started their career as a Software Consultant/PhD Candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they designed and developed applications for the Academic Computing and Communications Center (ACCC). In 2005, they began working as a Software Consultant at ADP, where they designed and developed large scale enterprise level applications using C#, ASP .NET, AJAX, ASMX Web Services, T-SQL, SQL Server, Windows Services, and Multi-threading. In 2007, Talha moved to RR Donnelley, where they worked as a Solutions Architect and Software Developer/Consultant. Their responsibilities included creating enterprise IT solutions, leading IT capital projects, and working directly with leadership, business owners, and users to understand business problems, needs, workflows, processes, and use cases. In 2012, they joined The SAVO Group as a Senior Software Architect/Tech Lead, where they provided technical leadership, developed architecture, and was a CRM/Salesforce domain expert. In 2018, Talha began working at Informatica as a Principal Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, Talha joined Amberflo.io as a Founding Principal Software Engineer. At Amberflo, they are responsible for developing a Cloud Metering Platform for modern subscription and usage-based product-led companies using Java and Node.

Talha Aftab has studied Computer Science at both the University of Illinois Chicago and Western Illinois University.
