William Armand Mala is an experienced consultant specializing in biodiversity and environmental management, currently working at AMBERO Consulting GmbH since October 2020. This role involves a study aimed at documenting the knowledge and practices of indigenous and local communities for biodiversity conservation in the Tri-National of the Sangha. Previously, William served as a Senior Consultant and Coordinating Lead Author at NESDA-CA, contributing to national assessments of biodiversity and ecosystem services in Cameroon, and held various consulting roles with organizations such as UNDP, CIFOR, and the Ministry of Environment. William holds a PhD in Forest Science from Stellenbosch University, along with a Master of Science in Seed Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Botany from the University of Yaounde.
