Pei-Lun Hsieh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at Academia Sinica, Taiwan until 2010. They then became a Research Assistant at Columbia University in 2011, followed by a Research and Development Internship at Weta Digital in 2012. In the same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia University. In 2013, Pei-Lun joined Gramercy Surgery Center, Inc. as a Contract Software Developer. They then became a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California in 2013 and at Disney Research in 2014. Finally, in 2014, they co-founded Ambidio, where their role as Co-Founder continues to date.
Pei-Lun Hsieh earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University between 2003 and 2008. Later, in 2011 and 2012, they pursued and completed a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia Engineering. Finally, from 2014 to 2016, Pei-Lun Hsieh obtained another Master's Degree, this time in Computer Science, from the University of Southern California.
