Baruch Epstein

Baruch Epstein is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Applied Research Scientist at Ambient.ai since March 2022, where the focus is on developing algorithms for real-time security video monitoring. Prior to this role, Baruch held positions as a Senior Research Engineer at DawnLight, where efforts centered on video comprehension models and their deployment on edge devices, and as a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Algorithms Developer at Mobileye. Baruch's extensive experience also includes working in image processing and algorithm development at Elbit Systems Ltd, along with a research assistantship at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. A solid academic background includes a PhD, a Master's degree, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, all obtained from Technion, supplemented by additional educational experience at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
