David Brindle

David Brindle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in journalism and governance. Currently serving as a Board member and Chair at Ambient Support since August 2020, Brindle previously held the position of Public Services Editor at Guardian News & Media from September 2004 to December 2020. Additional leadership roles include Board member and Vice-chair at Richmond Fellowship, Board member and Chair at NDTi, and Trustee positions at 2Care and Mental Health Media. Brindle's journalism career also includes roles as Editor of Society Guardian and Social Affairs Correspondent at Guardian News & Media, Labour Correspondent at Financial Times, and Reporter at Coventry Evening Telegraph. Academically, Brindle holds a degree in Economic History from the University of Exeter and has studied Journalism at City, University of London.
