Waltteri Pakalén

Waltteri Pakalén has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at Aalto University, where they focused on engineering algorithms for the approximate string matching problem. Waltteri'swork resulted in the publication of a conference paper. From 2018 to 2020, they joined Digia Plc as a Software Developer, working on customer projects of various scales in agile teams. Waltteri'sresponsibilities included understanding customer needs and developing software components, with a focus on cloud environments and microservices. Currently, they are employed at Ambientia as a Software Developer, starting in 2021.

Waltteri Pakalén completed their Master's degree in Computer Science at Aalto University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university between 2013 and 2017. In addition to their formal education, Waltteri earned a certification in DevOps Fundamentals from the DevOps Agile Skills Association (DASA) in August 2019.
