James Sharpe

James Sharpe has a wealth of experience in various leadership and executive roles. James currently serves as the President & Chief Learning Officer at AmbiFi, Inc. Since joining Gagen MacDonald in 2018 as an Executive Leader, they have played a pivotal role in leadership development, change and transformation, culture change, and strategy execution. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director at Northwestern Mutual, focusing on field leadership and talent. James also held leadership positions at Korn Ferry and PDI Ninth House, where they oversaw global solutions, technology, and strategic initiatives. James began their career at IBM, where they served as the Director of e-Learning & Talent Management Strategy and Technology. Before entering the private sector, James gained valuable experience as a Manager at General Dynamics. Overall, James Sharpe’s work experience reflects a strong background in leadership, talent development, and driving organizational success.

James Sharpe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. James also pursued Leadership Development at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2004. In addition, from 1989 to 1991, they completed coursework towards a Master of Science degree in Systems Management at the University of Southern California.
