Jes Nielsen

Jes Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2008, Jes worked as a Software Architect at Freescale Semiconductor for three years. From 2011 to 2013, Jes transitioned to Principal Systems Engineer at Open Grid Computing, where they focused on TCP/IP offload engine development, OSPF3 router implementation, and hardware certification. In 2013, Jes joined Mangstor, Inc as the Director of Field Application Engineering. After three years, Jes moved to 6WIND in 2016, where they worked as a Senior Solutions Architect until 2022. During this time, Jes gained significant expertise in cloud and networking solutions. In 2022, Jes took on the role of Cloud & Networking Consultant at 7 x AWS Certs. Currently, Jes is working as a Staff AWS Engineer at Ambiq. With their extensive experience and multiple certifications, Jes brings a wealth of knowledge to their roles.

Jes Nielsen holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. In addition to their formal education, Jes has obtained several certifications, including the Stanford Advanced Computer Security Certification from Stanford University in 2016, the Stanford Certified Project Manager Certification from Stanford University in 2006, and various certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Amazon Web Services Advanced Networking Specialty, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Jes also holds the Cisco CCNA v3 Switching & Routing Certification from Cisco and has completed the Google IT Automation with Python Specialization from Coursera. Furthermore, Jes has obtained the Windows Embedded CE 6.0, Developer Certification from Microsoft.
