Oliver Mayes is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various companies. Currently serving as the Founding Product Designer at amble since September 2025, Oliver previously held significant roles at Bumble Inc. as Staff Product Designer (Ai Discovery) and Lead Product Designer (0-1 incubator) from December 2022 to September 2025. Prior experience includes positions at Motorway as Lead Product Designer and Senior Product Designer, as well as serving as Senior Digital Designer at JCDecaux and Digital Designer at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Oliver began a freelance design career at Studio OJM, working with notable clients such as Yamaha and the Royal Academy of Arts. In addition to design roles, Oliver has contributed to academia as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London. Oliver holds a BA (Hons) in Design & Interaction from Central Saint Martins and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of the Arts London.
