Jamie Wood

Jamie Wood has a diverse work experience starting from their position as a Founder at sLOLgans in 2008. They went on to work as a Logistics Analyst at L'Oreal in 2008, a Technology Consultant at Accenture from 2011 to 2013, and a Management Consultant at Deloitte from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Jamie joined Uber and held various roles including Operations Manager & Launcher in Wales, Operations Manager on the Marketplace team, Planning & Analysis Lead for UK & Ireland, and Head of Marketplace Health for UK & Ireland. They were later promoted to the role of Head of Driver Operations & General Manager, UK, where they were responsible for leading analytics, operations, and product initiatives such as launching Uber Pro, implementing a worker model with benefits, transitioning to a fully electric fleet, and establishing a union recognition deal.

Most recently, in 2022, Jamie co-founded Ambr and currently serves as the Chief Product & Technology Officer.

Jamie Wood attended Aston University, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Business & Computing. The specific dates of their time at Aston University are not provided. In 2017, Jamie also participated in Executive Education in Leadership & Strategy at Harvard Business School.
