Matthew Lane

Matthew Lane possesses extensive experience in marine operations and consultancy within the renewable energy sector. At Ambrey, Matthew held roles as Director of Marine Operations and Senior Consultant for Special Marine Projects from January 2020 to May 2021. Prior to that, Matthew worked at CWind from January 2014 to January 2020, serving as Client Representative and Principal Marine Adviser, where responsibilities included conducting crew and operations assessments for Formosa 2 OWFI and chairing planning meetings for Gode 1 & 2. Additionally, Matthew was a Marine Fleet Manager and Joint Owner at CWind, overseeing complex vessel modifications to meet client specifications. Since January 2012, Matthew has also been the Managing Director and Consultant at Sceptre Solutions Ltd, leading various offshore projects within the renewable sector, and briefly served as Senior Marine Coordinator at EDP Renewables/James Fisher Renewables in 2019.
