Director, Advanced Analytics - Computational Biology And Medical Informatics at Ambry

Adam Chamberlin has extensive experience in the field of computational biology and medical informatics. Adam worked as the Director of Advanced Analytics at Ambry Genetics, where they led a team in developing and implementing tools to assess the impact of variants on protein structure and function. Prior to that, they were a Research Associate at the University of Calgary, where they focused on the development of computational methods to study protein properties, such as docking studies and design modifications. Adam also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Tromsø, where they managed their research project and supervised undergraduate and graduate students. Earlier in their career, Adam worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, conducting studies on the temperature dependence of free energies of solvation for small molecules.

Adam Chamberlin earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Chemistry from Trinity University in 2003. Adam then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, which they completed in 2008. Adam has also obtained various certifications, including a Specialized Certificate in Applied Bioinformatics from UC San Diego Extended Studies in 2021, and a Specialized Certificate in Machine Learning from the same institution in 2020.
