Arturo Hernandez

Arturo Hernandez is a Scientist at Ambry Genetics, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Arturo served as an Associate Scientist at Stemson Therapeutics from November 2021 to November 2023, where responsibilities included leading the genomics lab within a research team focused on hair follicle restoration through iPSCs and 3D culture, managing materials, forecasting costs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting technical findings to executive management. Prior to that, Arturo was a Sequencing Core Specialist II at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology from September 2019 to November 2021, engaging in Next-Generation Sequencing operations and innovative protocol development. Arturo holds a Master of Science in Biomedicine and Bionanotechnology from Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada, earned from 2016 to 2018, and a degree in Bioengineering from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, obtained from 2011 to 2015.
