Nicklas Christian Funk

Nicklas Christian Funk is a Senior Sustainability Specialist at Ambu A/S, specializing in implementing environmental sustainability and circular design in innovative products. Since March 2020, Nicklas has focused on driving design strategy, supporting sustainable technology and new product development, and ensuring governance for ecodesign. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientific Assistant at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where Nicklas empowered companies in the transition to a Circular Economy and assessed circular business models in the climate sector. Previous positions include consulting for Steelcase on sustainability assessment tools, supporting online learning at Oticon, and various roles in the hospitality industry. Nicklas holds a Master of Science in Design & Innovation and a Bachelor of Science in Design and Innovation from DTU.
