Asit Parikh

Asit Parikh is currently the Director at Ambys Medicines. Prior to this, they were with Phathom Pharmaceuticals and Akaza Bioscience as a Director. Asit has also worked with Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Takeda as the Head of Gastroenterology Therapeutic Area Unit. Asit has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Asit Parikh received their Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; French Language and Literature. Asit then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where they received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry. After completing their Internal medicine residency program at the University of Pennsylvania, they pursued postdoctoral studies in Cancer Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Asit is currently a Fellow in Gastroenterology at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital.
