Paul Salmenmaki

Paul Salmenmaki is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in mine planning, design, and cost estimation for underground mining projects. Since November 2012, Paul has served as Principal Mining Engineer at AMC Consultants, having also held the position of Senior Mining Engineer. Prior roles include Senior Mine Engineer and Mine Planning Engineer at Vale from June 2007 to October 2012, and Explosives, Blasting and Vibrations Consulting Engineer at Explotech Engineering Ltd. from 2002 to May 2007. Earlier experience includes a role as Foreman/Mine Engineer at St. Mary's Cement - Canada Building Materials and as an Engineer in Training at Unimin Corporation. Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne.
