Derrick Leggett

Derrick Leggett is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology at AMC Theatres. Derrick has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Prior to joining AMC Theatres, Derrick held various positions at Novastar Financial Inc., Armed Forces Insurance, and K2b, Inc. In these roles, they managed database operations, development teams, and enterprise reporting teams. Derrick was also responsible for creating strategic vision and planning for data systems departments to align with business and divisional goals. Derrick has a proven track record of successful project management, with a focus on tactical implementation and approach to insure successful completion of objectives.

Derrick is an expert in database administration and data architecture. Derrick has consolidated numerous SQL Server installations, implemented enterprise database standards and procedures, and protected intellectual capital and resource investments. Their experience and expertise have been invaluable to AMC Theatres as they continue to grow and expand their business.

Derrick Leggett has a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Kansas State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory from Arizona State University, and a BA in Missions from Baptist Bible College. Derrick also has an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley, a Th.g in Missions from Fellowship Baptist College, and a Certificate in Intermediate Spanish and Culture Studies from LenguaViva.
