John Soehnlen is a skilled packaging engineer and technical manager with extensive experience in the Food, Medical, and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Amcor, John leads the development of flexible packaging products for various applications. Previously, John held various roles including Staff Package Development and External Manufacturing Engineer at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, where notable achievements included oversight of a multimillion-dollar international product launch that won the 2021 Packaging PACE Award. John has also worked at Avery Dennison and International Paper, contributing to advancements in RFID technology and packaging materials. John is pursuing a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology at North Carolina State University, building on a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from The Ohio State University.
