Wayne Preston

Wayne Preston is a seasoned professional in the security industry with extensive experience in management and operations. Currently serving as General Manager at Amdec Group since November 2019, Wayne oversees the security portfolio at Melrose Arch. Prior to this role, Wayne held the position of Contract Manager at Bidvest, managing security operations at Melrose Arch from February 2010 to November 2019. Wayne’s previous experience includes serving as Regional Ops Manager at Chubb, where responsibilities spanned four branches in the Cape region, and Acting Regional Executive at ADT, culminating a 14-year career with the company. Wayne's foundational experience includes an Area Manager role at ADT Tyco Fire and Security and a tenure as a Police Detective with the South African Police Service.
