Michael Penland is an experienced aviation professional with extensive expertise in managing airline operations. Since August 2008, Michael has served as General Manager at Spirit Airlines, overseeing operations in Myrtle Beach, SC, and managing additional stations including JAX, CRW, GSO, RDU, CLT, and CHS. Notable achievements include leading a team of over 200 personnel at one of the world's busiest airports, ensuring on-time performance for 30 daily departures, and securing four "Station of the Year" awards. Prior experience includes roles at JetStream Ground Services as General Manager, where Michael directed operations for 72 employees, and at America West Airlines as Passenger Service Supervisor, maintaining a record of no passenger delays for ten months.
