Stein Damman

Stein Damman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Stein most recently served as the Director of Security/CISO for Amedia AS, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at Kripos (National Criminal Investigation Service - NCIS), including Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Information Officer. Stein'sresponsibilities at Kripos included maintaining an ISMS based on ISO 27001/27002, developing the IT strategy for the fight against organized crime, and implementing an Information Security Management System.

Before their time at Kripos, Damman worked at Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet as an Adviser, providing professional advisory services within national security issues and protective security services in Norway. Stein also served as the Managing Director at Bluecom Venezuela, where they provided strategic solutions and consultancy services to telecom organizations.

Damman's career also includes roles at Scope A/S as a Senior Consultant and Partner, Norconsult Telematics Ltd as a Senior Consultant and Consultant, Teleplan AS as a Consultant, and the Norwegian Defence/Intelligence (SIGINT) as a Consultant. In these positions, they gained experience in project management, security evaluations, system implementation, and intelligence-based system development, among other areas.

Throughout their career, Damman has demonstrated a strong focus on information security, data protection, and strategic planning. Stein has experience in implementing and maintaining ISMS based on ISO standards and has worked with national and international regulations in the field of information security and data protection.

Stein Damman began their education in 1984 at Technical College, where they pursued a degree in Electronics and Digital Technique. Stein completed this program in 1986. Following this, Damman enrolled at NKI from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science, specifically in the field of Computers Science.
