Karen Faas

Karen Faas has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Karen currently serves as the Area Vice President Clinical Operations at Amedisys since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Area Vice President at Covenant Care, Corp. from December 2019 to August 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at Kindred at Home, including Area Vice President Operations from January 2014 to January 2019 and Area Director Operations from April 2006 to January 2014. Karen also served as an Administrator at CareSouth Home Care Professionals from January 2003 to March 2006 and at NHC Homecare from January 1999 to February 2003. Karen'searliest work experience was as an Agency Administrator at Mizell Home Health from January 1994 to January 1998. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in managing operations, budgets, HR, clinical and sales operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Karen Faas has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of South Alabama, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Jefferson Davis Community College from 1991 to 1993 and earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing. Karen also holds an Advanced Diploma from Clay High School.
