Xavier Alvarez

Xavier Alvarez has experience as a Managing Director of Tech Funds at Caixa Capital Risc since October 2017. Xavier is also a Board Director at Validated ID, Immfly, KDPOF, Psious, and PlayGiga, starting in 2019, 2017, 2017, 2019, and 2017 respectively. Prior to these roles, they were the Head of International Banking Investment at CRITERIA Caixa Corp. from January 2015 to October 2017. Additionally, Xavier was a Founding Partner at PaoCapital from 2007 to 2017, through which they made private investments, offered advisory services, and held board positions in various companies. Before that, they held positions at CaixaBank, including Member of the Board of Credit Committee and Director of Corporate & Structured & Public Risk department. Xavier was also a Member of the Board at abiquo, a start-up company focused on cloud computing, from July 2007 to January 2010.

Xavier Alvarez attended IESE Business School from 2015 to 2016, although the degree name and field of study are not specified. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1998, they pursued an MBA degree with a specialization in Business Administration & MBA at Esade. During their time at Esade, they also participated in a short-term MBA Exchange Program in International Business at Mc Gill University in 1997.
