James Sweeney has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the communications and media industry. James recently joined Amendola Communications as a Senior Account and Content Director in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Adcom Group for over a decade as VP of Content, where they oversaw digital content creation and storytelling for clients such as the Kauffman Foundation and Daimler Trucks North America. Before that, they served as an Editor at Sideways, a startup focused on building apps for mobile devices, and launched the first magazine built solely for the iPad. James also has experience as an Editor-in-Chief and Editor at Advanstar Communications, where they worked on practice management and healthcare magazines. Additionally, they spent a significant portion of their career as an Editor/Reporter at the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
James Sweeney has a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Political Science from Miami University.
