Jean Mortellaro

Jean Mortellaro is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Amentum since May 2019, Jean specializes in government projects within the navy nuclear and glovebox sectors. Previously, as Project Engineering Manager at AECOM from September 2016 to March 2018, Jean led various power projects, overseeing proposals, engineering, construction, and performance testing while managing contracts and budgets. Jean also held the positions of Mechanical Section Manager and Project Discipline Lead at Black & Veatch from June 2012 to September 2016, contributing to high-quality engineering and collaboration in infrastructure development. Earlier career roles include Principal Engineer at URS Corporation and Mechanical/Process Engineer and Chief Mechanical Engineer at NEPCO. Jean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, earned between 1987 and 1992.
