Federico Duperly

Federico Duperly is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, focusing on traction motor mechanical design since May 2023. Prior to this, Duperly worked as a Mechanical Designer at McMaster Automotive Resource Center from September 2019 to April 2023, contributing to the design of axial flux PM machines and leading a team to enhance durability and manufacturability in the third generation of these machines. Duperly's experience also includes serving as a Lab Teaching Assistant at McMaster University, an Internship at Canoo in battery and powertrain design, and holding leadership roles in the EcoCAR 3 competition while completing a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Management at McMaster University.
