Robin Flachbart is currently a Team Lead in the Amentum Space Exploration Division. Previously, Robin served as an Aerospace Engineer at NASA from 1989 to 2013 and later held various roles at Jacobs from 2019 to 2024, including Team Lead and Systems Engineer for Spacecraft/Payload Integration and Evolution. Robin also worked as a Risk Manager for the SLS Launch Abort System and as Risk Lead Engineer for the Mars Ascent Vehicle. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, a Bachelor of Arts in History (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master of Arts in History, both from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and participation in the Space Studies Program at the International Space University in 1996.
