Ari Syrjälä

Ari Syrjälä has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ari is currently working as the Director of Business Development at Amer Sports, where they lead the COO Office. Prior to that, Ari worked at BearingPoint for three years as a Manager, focusing on developing the EPM practice and leading the Forecasting and Planning competency team. Ari has also held management positions at Nokia, where they were responsible for strategic projects and process design in the Business Capability Operations. Additionally, Ari worked as a Senior Business Consultant at BearingPoint, specializing in finance and supply chain concept development, system implementation, and management accounting. Ari began their career at Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Analyst in M&A Transaction Services and later worked as an Analyst. Ari also has experience in the banking sector as a Private Banker at Bon Pankkiiriliike and a Credit Control Official at Luottokunta, where they managed client portfolios and handled credit-related responsibilities. Ari'sdiverse experience includes areas such as business development, strategic projects, process design, finance, and banking.

Ari Syrjälä has a Master's degree in Economics & Business Administration from the LUT School of Business and Management, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Ari also has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Economics from the same institution, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained a TalentQ Test Certificate from TalentQ Nordic in 2020, completed the Elements of AI program at the University of Helsinki in 2018, and achieved the SAFe 4.0 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained the APV1 and APV2 certifications from Finanssialan Keskusliitto in 2010. Ari also participated in an Executive Education program in Management skills at the Yale School of Management in 2022.
