Björn Ostertag

Björn Ostertag has extensive work experience in various roles within the logistics and aviation industry. Björn currently holds the position of Head of Global Logistics Projects at Amer Sports, starting in 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Delivery Station Manager at Amazon Logistics, where they focused on analyzing business KPIs, optimizing processes, and improving workflow.

Before their time at Amazon, Björn held multiple senior management positions at Lufthansa Cargo. Björn served as a Senior Manager, a Senior Manager Strategic Projects, Subproject Lead in Jamaica, and Head of Fuel Efficiency Management & Punctuality. In their role as Head of Aircraft Ground Handling Frankfurt, they were responsible for coordinating aircraft handling and cargo loading, among other tasks. Björn began their career at Lufthansa in 1998, where they held several senior management positions related to ground operations, cooperations, and pricing.

Additionally, Björn gained early work experience through internships at Flughafen München GmbH and Camino Airfreight Forwarder in 1990.
