Carolina Paz has extensive experience in the finance and banking sectors, currently serving as the Vice President, Operational Risk and Control Senior Officer at Amerant Bank since November 2014. Prior to this role, Carolina held positions at Mercantil Commercebank N.A. from 2004 to 2014, advancing from Call Center Supervisor to Fraud Supervisor and then to Information Security Analyst. Earlier career experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant for Latin America at Preferred Trade, Inc. Carolina holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from LaGuardia Community College.
