Ron Schmitz

Ron Schmitz is a seasoned network engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently self-employed since January 2018, Ron was previously a Network Engineer at Ameren, providing support for over 100 Cisco ASA firewalls. Prior roles include leading network integration projects at Modis, where the deployment of networking equipment was successfully accomplished, and serving as Lead Network Designer at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where significant network infrastructure upgrades were designed and implemented across multiple locations. Ron also held a managerial position at Anheuser-Busch, overseeing a team responsible for various network projects. Additionally, Ron possesses a strong academic background, with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Prior military service as a Data Communications Engineer in the US Air Force further complements Ron’s professional expertise.
