John Bolton

John Bolton has a diverse work experience in the energy and finance industry. John most recently worked as the Managing Director and Head of Renewable Energy Structured Solutions at Amerex Energy Services, where they focused on renewable energy marketing and structured transactions. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Amerex Brokers LLC, overseeing the company's operations. John also held a role as Senior Counsel and Senior Vice President at GFI Group Inc., where they managed North American litigation and directed outside counsel. Before that, they served as the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Phoenix Partners Group LP, and later as the Co-Chief Compliance Officer at Phoenix Derivatives Group LLC/PPG West LLC. John began their career at Nixon Peabody, where they worked as an Associate before becoming a Partner.

John Bolton completed their secondary education at Glen Cove High School from 1983 to 1987. Afterward, they attended Hamilton College from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the University at Buffalo School of Law from 1992 to 1995.
