Kevin McPoyle

Kevin McPoyle has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and risk management. Kevin is currently working as the Chief Compliance Officer at AmeriBest Home Care since June 2020. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Risk Management Consultant from May 2017 to June 2020. During this time, they led the development of a validation function and a 12-person assurance team for an ERM program, assisted clients with SOX auditing mandates, and developed tools to streamline the IT Access Recertification process.

Before their self-employment, Kevin held the position of Director of Integrity and Compliance Officer at Tandigm Health from October 2014 to May 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Internal Audit and Compliance at Kennedy Health System from November 2010 to October 2014.

Kevin's earlier work experience includes serving as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer at Apollo Health Street, Inc. (formerly Zavata, Inc.) from January 2007 to July 2010, and as the Associate Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer at Jefferson Health System/Frankford Hospitals from February 2003 to January 2007.

Kevin McPoyle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from La Salle University. Kevin also holds a Certificate in Medical Coding in the field of Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician from Manor College. In terms of additional certifications, they are a Certified Public Accountant, obtained in October 1994 from the Pennsylvania Board of Accountancy. Kevin is also a Certified HIPAA Professional, obtained in January 2023 from ecfirst.
