Rania Kalad

Program Director - NY at America On Tech

Rania Kalad is an experienced education professional, currently serving as Program Director for New York at America On Tech since March 2022, after previously holding the role of Program Manager. Prior to this, Rania worked at Newark Public Schools from September 2017 to March 2022 as a Math Teacher, where Rania designed and implemented interactive, student-centered lessons for over 50 students, utilizing various curricular and technology tools. Rania's experience also includes serving as a Special Education Teacher at First Avenue Elementary School, focusing on differentiated instruction for grades pre-k, 4, and 5, and collaborating with general education teachers to accommodate students' needs. Additional roles include working as an In-home ABA Therapist and Teaching Assistant at Eden Autism, as well as tutoring students in Arabic and English at New City Kids. Rania holds a Master's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers University.
