Ben Slutsker

Ben Slutsker currently serves as the Director of Life Actuarial Valuation at the Minnesota Department of Commerce and holds the position of Vice President of the Life Practice Council and Board of Directors member at the American Academy of Actuaries. In addition, Ben is the Chair of the FSA Exam Curriculum Committee for Individual Life and Annuities at the Society of Actuaries. Prior to these roles, Ben worked for New York Life Insurance Company for over a decade, progressing through various actuarial leadership positions, including Corporate Vice President and Actuary. Ben's early career included an internship at The Hartford, and academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Emory University.
