Kiersten Valko, MPH, currently serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager at the American Academy of Audiology, a position held since May 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Marketing and Communications Specialist at the same organization, and Walk4Hearing Program Specialist at the Hearing Loss Association of America from June 2018 to May 2019. Kiersten's career began as an Account Representative at Carahsoft in late 2017, followed by an Administrative Assistant position at Radford University in 2015. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Radford University.

The American Academy of Audiology was founded in January 1988 and is the world’s largest professional organization of, by and for audiologists. Representing the interests of audiologists and audiology students nationwide, the Academy is dedicated to providing quality hearing-care services through professional development, education, research, and increased public awareness of hearing and balance disorders.
