Janette Stout

Janette Stout, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Janette started their career as a Program Manager at CTIA in 1996, where they worked until 2002. Janette then joined the Cato Institute as the Director of Administration from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they became the Director of Administration & Human Resource Services at SURA - Southeastern Universities Research Association, a position they held from 2007 to 2018. During their time at SURA, they also served as a key member of the leadership team and was responsible for overseeing corporate administrative functions. In 2016, they joined the Center for Research and Exploration in Space Sciences & Technology as the Associate Director, representing SURA. Janette was involved in strengthening NASA's research and development mission and led collaborative activities with external scientific communities. Currently, Janette is the Director of Human Resources and Operations at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
