Edwin Williams III, MD, FACS, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director at Williams Center Plastic Surgery Specialists, a role held since July 1992, where expertise encompasses facial plastic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic rejuvenation techniques. As a leader within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 1999, contributions include serving on the Board of Directors and as President, as well as involvement in various committees focused on education and quality assurance. Edwin Williams III also founded and directs New England Laser and Cosmetic Surgery Center, Inc., while previously holding the position of Clinical Professor of Surgery at Albany Medical Center from 2006 to 2018. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology from Cornell University.

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the largest organization in the world representing medical residents, fellows, and board-certified facial and reconstructive surgeons who specialize in the plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck. The majority of AAFPRS members and fellows are certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which includes examination in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures, and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. With more than 2,000 members, the Academy is the world’s largest international association of facial plastic surgeons and the only organization dedicated solely to the advancement of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
