Julie Devoe

Julie DeVoe has over 30 years of diverse work experience. Julie currently serves as the Director of Communications Strategy & Development at the American Academy of Family Physicians. Prior to this, they were the Director of Global Communications and Director of Global Philanthropy Communications at Children International. Julie also held the position of Director of Philanthropic Communications at Children's Mercy Hospital. Julie has experience at Sprint and Embarq, where they worked as an Executive Speechwriter and Director of Employee Communications, respectively. Julie's earlier career includes roles such as Executive/Employee Communications Manager at Sprint, Features Writer/Magazine Editor at The Kansas City Star, Account Manager at JWT Advertising, and Features Writer at The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle.

Julie DeVoe attended Austin Peay State University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in English, Journalism, and Secondary Education.
