Gary McDonald

Gary McDonald currently serves as the Deputy Chief Prosecutor in the Grand Jury/Intake Division and as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office since January 2017. Additionally, Gary McDonald is a Fellow and a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and acts as a Subject Matter Expert for the Texas State Fire Marshal Science Advisory Workgroup at the Texas Department of Insurance. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney at the District Attorney's Office in Dallas County since June 2010 and serving as a Staff Attorney for the Texas Department of Public Safety from February 2008 to May 2010. Gary McDonald holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Texas Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from Centenary College of Louisiana.
