Lucy Davis

Lucy Davis is a distinguished professional in the field of forensic DNA analysis with extensive experience spanning several decades. Serving as an Academy Standard Board member for the AAFS Standards Board since February 2015, Lucy also holds the position of CEO and Forensic DNA Consultant at LDH Consultants, a role that began in 2002. Additionally, Lucy has been an Auditor for the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board since 2001 and a Fellow with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences since 1991. Previous leadership roles include serving as the Director of Forensic Programs at The Center for Advanced Forensic DNA Analysis from June 2013 to March 2015 and as a lecturer at the Southern Police Institute from 1991 to 2013. Early career positions include significant roles at the Kentucky State Police Forensic Laboratory from 1985 to 2002, where Lucy served as Quality Assurance Supervisor and DNA Section Supervisor. Lucy Davis holds a BHS in Medical Technology from the University of Kentucky and has furthered education at the University at Albany.
