Deanna Ekholm

Deanna Ekholm is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in human resources, diversity, and administration. Currently serving as Chief People, Diversity and Administrative Officer at the American Academy of Neurology since August 2018, Deanna partners with the executive team to implement HR and DEI strategies aligned with organizational goals. Prior roles include Vice President of Human Resources and Interim Vice President of Operations at The Waters Senior Living/Shelter Corporation, where leadership spanned various HR functions and operational management during a COO transition. Earlier experience encompasses positions such as Director of Human Resources and Administration at QualiTech, Human Resources & Operations Manager at College Possible, and HR Business Partner at Marquette Real Estate Group. Deanna holds a Master's in Human Development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Metro State University.
