Deanna Ekholm

Deanna Ekholm is an experienced human resources and administrative leader currently serving as the Chief People, Diversity and Administrative Officer at the American Academy of Neurology since August 2018. In this role, Deanna collaborates with the executive team to advance HR and DEI strategies, focusing on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. Prior to this, Deanna held leadership positions at The Waters Senior Living/Shelter Corporation, including Vice President of Human Resources and interim operations leadership, and filled various HR roles at QualiTech, College Possible, Marquette Real Estate Group, Project Pathfinder, St. Paul Conservatory of Music, and MN Youth Symphonies. Deanna holds a Master's degree in Human Development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Metro State University.
