Heather Silsbee is a seasoned professional in editing and communications with extensive experience in managing publication processes and content strategy. Currently serving as the Guideline & Measure Publications Program Manager at the American Academy of Neurology since April 2020, Heather oversees the editing and dissemination of clinical practice guidelines in neurology. Previously, as Communications Director for Mike Norton's campaign for Minneapolis City Council, Heather directed communications efforts, including managing a team for graphic design and social media. At the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Heather held the role of Senior Editor and Strategist, collaborating on content strategy and conducting market research. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Macalester College.
