Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson is a skilled professional with extensive experience in scientific programming and program administration. Currently serving as Scientific Education Program Manager at the American Academy of Neurology since November 2021, Katie oversees the Annual Meeting's scientific program and manages the submission of over 3,500 abstracts. Previous roles at Special Olympics Minnesota included Senior Manager of Program Administration and various positions focusing on competition experiences for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Katie's earlier career includes roles with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Great River Greening, and Minnesota Conservation Corps, where responsibilities ranged from resource management and ecological restoration to teamwork within conservation projects. Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Russian Language from St. Olaf College.
